Introduction
There
really is no price to health. Yes, indeed medicine has been able
to cure diseases that were incurable before but the cost to the
body and finances cannot be undermined.
When
a body becomes sick, there is acceleration of tissue death and
breakdown. Inflammatory processes that work to protect the body
but which also have the potential of destroying adjacent healthy
cells in some cases spiral out of control causing new diseases
like arthritis that would not have occurred if the illness had
been avoided in the first place. Sometimes the whole disease state
greatly lowers our immunity making us susceptible to bacterial
and viral infections or psychological and neurological disorders.
